K9 in the Classroom
²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵPolice K9 Migel and Sgt. Patrick Jenkins recently visited Henderson Ward Stewart Elementary School, explaining the tasks of a K9 and demonstrating a few tricks for second graders in Hannah Beth McCall's classroom. This teacher earned her ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵmaster's degree in elementary education in 2024, after also attending ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵfor undergraduate studies. While in college, McCall served as a graduate assistant for ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵPD, forging an ongoing connection that sparked this classroom community engagement.
